Solution:
\(s(x)=8x^2-3\)
\(s(\frac{7}{2})=8(\frac{7}{2})^2-3\)

\(\ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ =2\times 49-3\)
\(\ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ =98-{3}\)
\(\ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ =95\)
